I am interested in how the environment influences the movement and development of insects in agricultural ecosystems. My Ph.D. research at Washington State University focused on insect pests and an insect-vectored pathogen in potatoes, and how water stress might affect vector movement and pathogen transmission. After graduating, I worked at the University of Calgary, researching how landscape and climate impact beneficial insects. As a research associate in the Szendrei lab, my work focuses on understanding the development and dispersal of potato pests to generate knowledge and tools for sustainable management.
