Two new publications from the lab are now in press. One is by former Ph.D. student, Rob Morrison; an asparagus beetle profile to be published in the Journal of Integrated Pest Management. The other paper is from work conducted by former M.S. student, Alex Bryant, on biological control of cabbages pests.
Congratulations to three current and former lab members for winning entomology department awards that were given out at the spring picnic. The Paul Wooly Award for outstanding total M.S. program went to former student Alex Bryant who is currently a 4H extension agent at the University of Kentucky. The Robert Dreisbach Award for outstanding total Ph.D. program went to Rob Morrison, who also won the 2013 Bughouse Volunteer of the Year award. Jeremy Jubenville won the 2013 Gene Rhodes Thompson Fellowship.
Rob successfully defended his Ph.D. on his asparagus miner research this week! Congratulations and we wish you good luck with your next steps!
